Diana and Zoltan are Santa Cruz locals through and through – so it's fitting they decided to get married at historic Holy Cross Church – pretty much the first Santa Cruz landmark you see as you drive off 17 into town; its bright white tower announces its presence for all, day and night. THis romantic couple decided to get ready at the new(ish) Hotel Paradox, a great location close to downtown. However there's not a whole lot of open space on the hotel property, so we walked to San Lorenzo Park for the First Look, bridal party and bride and groom photos before the ceremony. Yes, the park has some interesting denizens, but everyone was respectful and we were able to get some great shots of this fun crew.

The wedding ceremony at Holy Cross went off without a hitch. Well, correction – they *did* get hitched, and it was awesome. Note for other photographers – the staff really doesn't want you to move around during the ceremony, so find a spot and stick to it! The reception was held in the hall right next to the church – and it was way nicer than I expected. tons of space indoors and out, and these guys took full advantage. I really enjoyed the special musical performances by various friends, and Diana spent MANY hours putting together a really beautiful paper-flower backdrop that we used as a photo-station for all the guests before dinner. Such a great way to get shots with all the guests who attended the reception.

I got tons of great candid shots, and there were quite a few littles running around, so there's no shortage of adorable pics of them, especially when they started to warm up the dance floor. Enjoy my favorite photos from their wedding below:
